1. What are the benefits available under the VisionSure Wellness package for Employer groups? VisionSure provides the following benefits under its Vision wellness package:

The benefits for each Employer package are different. Please refer to the communication from your employee benefits team for the exact value of benefits available under your Employer package. The key terms of the package are summarised as below:

  • The package is valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
  • The employee / partner can avail of any one benefit across these four categories in the period of one year.
  • Benefit can be availed only once during the one year period. If the employee / partner avails benefits under the Prescription glasses category, irrespective of the value consumed, the rest of the benefits will lapse with immediate effect.
  • E.g. If the employee has a benefit value of INR 1,000 for Prescription glasses in their package and if the employee / partner avails benefit of INR 700 under Prescription glasses, the balance of INR 300 under Prescription glasses would not be available for subsequent use. Benefits under the other three categories would also lapse immediately.

2. What is covered under the Prescription and Non-Prescription category?

Prescription glasses or Prescription sunglasses includes glasses which are required for vision correction as determined by an Optometrist or an Ophthalmologist. Non-Prescription glasses include zero power computer glasses, driving glasses, or zero power sunglasses.

3. As a Employer, can I selectively enrol employees under VisionSure?

Currently, we do not permit selective enrollment of employees under VisionSure. However, we are happy to work on pilots where the benefits are offered only to specific teams, or employees with certain duration of employment, or specific designation within the organisation.

4. Where can these benefits be availed?

These benefits can be availed across all Network Partner stores, website and mobile application.

5. In case there is an existing promotional scheme being run at Lenskart, how would VisionSure benefits be availed along with such a promotional scheme?

VisionSure benefits are applicable over and above all other benefits including BOGO or any other seasonal promotion that might be running at Network Partner stores or websites. Please refer the below examples for clarification:

In the above example, as a customer, you do not need to pay anything for your Non-Prescription Eyewear

6. How can I avail the ophthalmologist benefit with Dr. Agarwal's?

7. Can I use the ophthalmologist's benefit from Dr. Agarwal's more than once?

Your employer will let you know the number of eye check ups your benefit allows at Dr. Agarwal's. Contact your HR/Insurance Broker to know more.

8. What does the ophthalmologist's benefit at Dr. Agarwal's cover?

The ophthalmologist's benefit at Dr. Agarwal's covers a comprehensive eye check-up with a consultation by a qualified ophthalmologist. This includes basic vision tests, general eye health assessment, and consultation. Apart from this, there is also a 15% discount on all eye surgeries from Dr. Agarwal's, including cosmetic surgeries like Lasik. Please note that this benefit cannot be clubbed with other insurance policies or benefits you may have that include this cover.

9. Is the ophthalmologist's consultation at Dr. Agarwal's fully covered, or is there a co-pay?

No, there is no co-pay on the consultation itself, it is a free consultation. However, this consultation benefit specifically covers the eye check-up and consultation. If any further tests, procedures, or additional costs arise beyond the initial consultation, these would not be covered under this specific benefit. Separately, as another benefit with VisionSure, you are eligible for a 15% discount on all eye surgeries from Dr. Agarwal’s.

10. Can I choose any Dr. Agarwal's clinic, or are there specific locations?

The benefit is applicable across the entire Indian network of Dr. Agarwal's clinics.

11. What if the ophthalmologist at Dr. Agarwal's recommends further tests or treatments? Are those covered?

The VisionSure ophthalmologist's benefit generally covers the eye check-up/consultation itself. Any further diagnostic tests, specialized treatments, or prescribed medications beyond the standard eye check-up is not covered under this specific benefit. However, there is another benefit of 15% discount on all eye surgeries including cosmetic surgeries like Lasik.

12. What is the new Lenskart Gold Max benefit available under the VisionSure package?

Eligible employees can receive a coupon code that can be redeemed for a free Lenskart Gold Max membership. While the membership fee itself will be waived, a convenience fee (usually Rs. 49) will be payable at the time of redemption. You can understand how to get this benefit by clicking here.

13. How can I redeem the Lenskart Gold Max coupon code?

You need to add the Lenskart Gold Max membership to your cart on the Lenskart website or mobile application. At checkout, enter the coupon code you have received. The membership fee will be waived, and you may only need to pay the convenience fee.

14. Can I redeem the Lenskart Gold Max coupon in-store?

Yes, you can redeem the coupon in-store by just giving the coupon code to the store manager or employee handling your purchase.

15. Is the convenience fee mandatory?

Yes, the convenience fee (generally Rs. 49) is a standard charge and is payable at the time of redemption, even though the Gold Max membership itself is free under the VisionSure benefit. However, you may not be charged the convenience fee, depending on the Lenskart process at the time of the purchase.

16. What happens if I forget to enter the coupon code at checkout?

If you do not enter the coupon code, the Gold Max membership will not be free, and you will be charged the regular membership price. Please ensure the coupon code is correctly applied before completing your order.

17. Can the coupon code for Gold Max be combined with other VisionSure eyewear benefits?

Yes, the Gold Max coupon code is independent of the eyewear benefits under VisionSure. You can avail your eyewear benefits separately as per the package rules.

18. How long is the coupon code for Lenskart Gold Max valid?

The validity period of the coupon code will be for one year after using the code. Please ensure you redeem it within the specified time.

19. Is the Gold Max membership received through this benefit the same as the regular paid Gold Max membership?

Yes, the membership received through this benefit is the same as the standard Lenskart Gold Max membership, with access to all its features and offers.
